Private tours in Rome, guided personally by Gerard.All tours are request-based. For Colosseum tours, tickets are issued in the names of the participants and are subject to availability, so I confirm each request personally once I have checked the available ticket options and timing.
Colosseum Underground & Arena
Visit the Underground levels of the Colosseum, where gladiators, animals, lifts and stage machinery were prepared before appearing in the arena.Underground tickets are extremely limited and are released according to the official ticketing schedule. When Underground access is confirmed, the visit also includes the Arena Floor.Choose between a 2-hour Colosseum-focused tour or a 3-hour tour including the Roman Forum.

Private Colosseum Underground Tours
I offer two private Colosseum Underground experiences: a focused 2-hour tour of the Colosseum, including both the Underground and Arena Floor, or a 3-hour option adding a guided visit to the Roman Forum. I personally guide both tours.Underground tickets are extremely limited and nominative. As a licensed guide, I can request tickets through the official channels available to guides, including some ticket releases that are not available through the tour-operator channel. This can sometimes provide an additional opportunity to secure Underground access, but availability is never guaranteed.Bookings made through this site are directly with me, Gerard Breen. I personally handle your request, ticket arrangements, confirmation and tour. No payment is taken unless I am able to confirm the required tickets.
